War Factory by poopbear War Factory by poopbear
Here's an illustration for a class done in acrylic and colored pencil. The original size is 11x14. The large scanner is still not up at school (three months and counting, I figure they just aren't interested in EVER getting that thing up again) so I had to scan this in four pieces, ugh.

I think the detail that speaks to me most is the different types of people on the belt. Very powerful imagery.

This is beaut. War's just one of those thing's I can't seem to comprehend. There's sure to be better aspects of it but I find it difficult to think of anything - on the account that there's good and bad to all.
Anyway's if I get started on war I'll go on forever. This artwork's beaut, congrats on producing such a thought- provoking work.

Great illustration. Reminds me of some other classical political peices. It certainly gets its statement across loud and clear.

Thanks Jesse. By the way, have you heard anything about the Towson con?

Nope, not yet. I wouldn't get your hopes up, they said they might open it up for Towson Students and Alumni but at this point I'm not sure if even Jeff and I will be able to secure a table, let alone bring other friends in. Its still over a month away. I'm going to check back with them next month to see if there are any updates.

I figured I'd go just to check it out anyway, regardless of being able to secure a table. It's good to get out of state every now and then...

Oh no, yet another poopbear posting hijacked by talk of Tigercon!

I'll be cosplaying as Hoke Smith at Tigercon '08, throwing copies of random Antisocial Comics strips at people willy-nilly. Though considering that the campus of TU on the weekend is a complete ghost town because everyone's gone back to New Jersey and Long Island, most of those strips will never find a target and will be left littering the campus. Sigh, a similar fate to what befell them when they were originally published... metaphorically, at least.

"It's good to get out of state every now and then..."

...especially if that state is New Jersey. Zing!

Does Hoke Smith yiff? In that vein, can you cosplay as Hoke Smith cosplaying as a furry? Preferably a transgendered diaper wearing guro loving tiger?
